Finally uploaded pictures of my Helsinki trip and Desucon that i thought is decent on my hosting.

also I’ve given up trying to get zenphoto up again. cant be bothered to try to constantly repair the php errors that it is constantly giving me… wordpress has surprisingly withstood the barrage of server moving and crashes that my free hosting was experiencing…
Also I’ve made a friend as a result of attending Desucon. Although it was right at the last 5 minute of me being in Lahti, we managed to exchange email address. At least i got something out of the trip. I was expecting that no one would be speaking to me (and no one did speak to me during the con tbh) and i would come and leave the same uneventful way due to the language barrier. As for the events in desucon itself, i thought they were well planned and executed (except for having a few of the events that i found interesting running at the same time which ment that i had to choose which to go to). The attendees of the con I found were pretty friendly bar the slight language barrier (which was managable).
As usual, I get the ‘nippon-jin desu-ka?’ treatment. lol. It is always fun to see people’s reaction when i reply them with perfect british english telling them that im not japanese.
Language barrier aside, i was taken aback on the levels of English in Finland. People speak more English than I’ve expected compared to my trip to Hungary a few years ago.
these are a few of cosplays that i thought is worth a brief mention. the only thing that i’ve regretted is not having somehow squeezing/forcing
